GFI Digital, Inc. is currently seeking candidates to fill an IT Help Desk Specialist position in our St. Louis, Missouri branch. Candidates must possess an Associates Degree in Computer Science or equivalent studies. The IT Help Desk Specialist’s duties include the following: responding to requests for technical assistance via phone and remote sessions, diagnosing and resolving technical hardware and software issues using a variety of available informational resources, and resolving customer issues when necessary. Troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills are necessary, as well as attention to detail.
Candidates must have a working knowledge of networking technologies, computer/printer hardware, Microsoft operating systems, and common user applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite. Candidates with previous help desk/call center experience will be given priority consideration. Knowledge of multi-functional devices (copier/printer/scanner) is also desired.
