A Jefferson City, Missouri native, Bruce Gibbs has spent more than three decades building a reputation as one of the region's most respected leaders in the office technology industry. He began his career at Modern Business Systems (MBS), the family business founded by his father, Hallie Gibbs, where his success in sales quickly led to leadership opportunities.

Following MBS's acquisition by Alco Standard and later IKON Office Solutions, Bruce was tasked with revitalizing a struggling Chicago branch. Under his leadership, the operation grew from just four employees to more than 160, demonstrating his ability to build high-performing teams and drive exceptional business growth.

In 1999, Bruce founded GFI Digital with four employees and a vision of creating a different kind of technology company—one built on service excellence, strong relationships, and a commitment to developing employees and supporting customers. Today, GFI Digital has grown into a regional office technology powerhouse with more than 420 employees across 14 branch locations, serving thousands of businesses throughout the Midwest.

Under Bruce's leadership, GFI Digital has evolved far beyond its roots in copiers and printers. The company now delivers comprehensive business technology solutions, including managed print services, managed IT services, advanced technologies, physical security, VoIP communications, and managed intelligence solutions. His long-term vision continues to drive innovation while positioning GFI Digital for sustained growth.
