JASON TRENT Director of Sales | Central Illinois Jason Trent serves as Director of Sales for GFI Digital in Central Illinois. Jason grew up in central Illinois and earned a double major in Business Communications and Business Administration from Truman University. He began his career at Modern Business Systems in the Kansas City market, selling facsimile systems. He later transferred back to central Illinois to manage the Decatur and Peoria branches. After his tenure at IKON, Jason served as Vice President of Sales at CDS Office Technologies for 12 years. In 2012, he returned to the Gibbs family to launch GFI Digital in the Central Illinois market. Under his leadership, GFI Digital acquired Bundy Business Systems and expanded to four offices serving the Champaign, Springfield, Peoria, and Bloomington markets. Jason is committed to leading by example and developing his team to deliver exceptional service to customers. Outside the office, Jason enjoys outdoor activities, especially hunting and fishing. He is actively involved in his community and has served on the board of the American Red Cross, been a Rotarian, and coached youth baseball.
