June Employee Spotlight

Each month we recognize an employee for their growth & continued success at GFI Digital. For the month of June we spotlighted one of our Service Technicians from our Southeastern Missouri office.

Meet Eric Yount, Service Technician in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

Eric will be celebrating his 10th year with the company in August and we thought we would catch up with him & learn more about his role & life outside of the

the office.

Here is what he had to say:

1. Tells us how a typical day in your role at GFI Digital goes.

My normal day starts out leaving home at 7, getting as many machines fixed as I can. Some days show harder problems than others. I tend to like the easier ones.

2. What is your favorite thing about GFI Digital? & how long you’ve been with the company?

My favorite thing is the fact I'm not always in the same location every day. I really like being able to drive to different places and see different people. I will be with the company 10 years this August.

3. What’s the most incredible view you’ve ever seen?

My favorite place to be is in the Smokey Mountains. Getting to see the clouds roll in below you.

4. What's your go-to midnight snack?

I don't have a favorite midnight snack. Once I go to sleep, I'm out for the longhaul!

5. If you could be any animal, which would you be & why?

If I could be any animal it would be a cheetah. They can hunt any time they want and don't get in trouble.

Here is what Eric's Supervisor had to say about him:

"Eric has been in the industry for almost 10 years. He came onboard with GFI when they purchased Quality Copiers that was located in Perryville MO. He is a good Service Technician and a joy to work with. He is always willing to help out whenever and wherever needed. He covers a very big territory in Southeast MO for us and does a great job! I hear nothing but good things from his customers and they all are very happy with the level of service Eric provides them."
