Each month we recognize an employee for their growth & continued success at GFI Digital. For the month of December we spotlighted one of our Drivers out of Mid-Missouri.

Meet Norman Hamler, our Mid-Missouri driver aka "copier santa" this time of year. Norman started with GFI Digital 5 years ago and we decided to ask him some interesting interview questions that attribute to his ongoing success and growth with us.

We caught up with Norman and this is what he had to say:

1. What is your favorite part of your job at GFI Digital & why?

My favorite part of my job at GFI Digital is that I don't have to go to work, it is that I get to go to work! I get to be with people who treat me with respect and dignity and I feel appreciated. I have FUN!

2. What was your first job & how old were you?

My first job was when I was 14 years old. I was a bus boy at Ramada Inn's restaurant. I was paid 65 cents an hour.

3. The morning alarm goes off… do you get up or hit snooze?

When the morning alarm goes off I get up, but usually I am up before the alarm sounds.

4. If you could witness any past or future event, what would it be?

I would like to witness the future in the copy machine business.... what will be taking place in 20 years? Then I would get a meeting with Bruce and fill him in on that future.

5. What do you like to do for fun?

For fun I like to spend time with my family. My wife, children and grandchildren bring great joy to my life!

Norman's manager had some nice things to say about his work ethic:
