Originally from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Allen has had an interest in IT since he was 16. After high school, he joined the Army and was depoyed to Desert Storm. With that experience under his belt, he attended the University of Colorado - Colorado Springs.

Allen started his career in IT at the age of 28 and has loved it ever since. For the last 18 years before joining GFI Digital in 2023, he was at ConvergeOne, holding multiple roles including Vice President of Operations and Vice President of Sales.

He and his wife Holly have seven children and four grandchildren, and in their free time they love to play a lot of golf!
